A condolence letter is a good way to show your support for the bereaved. The loss of a brother often lives a tremendous impact on a person since a brother has a very special importance in one’s life. There are just so many memories with the departed brother that are very hard to forget, which makes the pain of losing him more intense. When writing a condolence letter for the loss of a brother, make sure the letter contains supportive words to give comfort to the grieving person.

While there is no set format for a sympathy letter for the death of a brother, there is still a way to write it. Avoid writing a long letter and using flowery languages. It is okay to become emotional in your letter and site experiences with the departed if you can. This helps to invoke a fond memory of the departed brother and lives comfort to those he left behind.

The best way to write this letter is to express your deepest and sincerest condolences. Offer help to the family if you like, but be particular as to what kind of help you will be able to extend so they will not be expecting more than you can actually do. Let the bereaved know that you are there in his or her sorrow with the loss of the brother.  You may add sayings if you want but make sure the sayings are closest to what you really feel.
